Product Overview
The SMT Wertheim VH-Series vertical systems maximize floor space efficiency by processing electronic assemblies vertically rather than horizontally. Workpiece carriers of 400×400 mm or 500×500 mm travel through 3 to 4 heating and cooling zones in an up-and-down motion, delivering thorough thermal treatment in a fraction of the floor space required by conventional horizontal ovens. The systems feature oil-free transport to keep products and the production environment clean, with integrated cooling zones to complete the thermal cycle in a single compact unit. Available in manual or fully automatic configurations, the VH-Series adapts to both low-volume prototyping and high-volume serial production. Primary applications include product-specific curing and drying of adhesives, varnishes, and coatings, as well as temperature control for functional testing.
