Product Overview

The Vanstron VB-460XL Vertical Buffer is a space-saving PCB storage solution designed for SMT production line balancing. It accommodates up to 20 PCBs in a vertical configuration, minimizing floor space requirements while providing flexible FIFO (First In, First Out) and LIFO (Last In, First Out) operation modes.

The buffer uses PLC-based control for reliable, automated operation. When downstream equipment stops or slows down, the buffer stores incoming PCBs vertically, preventing line stoppages. When downstream equipment is ready, stored boards are released in the selected mode sequence.

With SMEMA and IPC Hermes 9852 communication interfaces, the vertical buffer integrates seamlessly into Industry 4.0 production environments, providing real-time board tracking and intelligent flow management across the entire SMT line.
