The IEMME Storage Wide is an extra-wide automated storage tower specifically engineered to handle large-format reels ranging from 10″ to 15″ in diameter. While standard storage towers are optimized for 7″ reels, many SMT components — particularly connectors, power semiconductors and specialized passives — ship on wider reels that require dedicated storage solutions.
Built on the same proven platform as the Storage 3200, the Storage Wide delivers all the same advanced features including acceptance control with automatic labeling, real-time material consumption tracking, and direct integration with ERP, MES and Pick & Place systems. The wider shelf geometry is purpose-built to accommodate oversized reels without wasting space.
The modular architecture allows additional units to be linked together and managed as a single integrated system, providing virtually unlimited scalability. As production lines expand, new towers can be added without disrupting existing operations, making the Storage Wide an investment that grows with your facility.
