Product Overview
The EVS 1500 is an enclosed, automated solder dross recovery system designed to reclaim solder from wave soldering dross. It recovers on average 50–75% of the solder contained in dross, reducing solder usage by up to 50% for equivalent production output and speeding up de-drossing time by up to 50%.
The system features advanced microprocessor control with an LCD display showing chamber temperature, cycle time, piston position, and total cycles completed. Recovered solder is dispensed into an ingot tray while spent dross exits through a sealed chute to a removable bucket. An automatic air-knife cools molten ingots until safe to handle.
With a 5 kg (11 lbs) capacity per cycle and a six-minute cycle time, the EVS 1500 is the compact entry-level model in the EVS range. It requires only single-phase power and a six-bar airline for plug-and-play installation. Also available in a lead-free variant (EVS 1500LF, 3 kg capacity). Distributed and supported by TIIHTRONICS across Mexico and Texas.
